Christopher E Rudd is a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Microbiology, Infection and Immunology at the Université de Montréal, and Head of Immunology and Cell Therapy at the Centre de Recherche Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont  (CR-HMR).  He was previously Professor of Molecular Immunology and Head of the Cell Signalling Section in the Department of Pathology at Cambridge University and has held previous professorial positions at the Harvard Medical School, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI, Boston) and Imperial College London. Rudd was a Principal Research Fellow (PRF) of the Wellcome Trust, the recipient of the Cancer Research Institute/Benjamin Jacobson Family Investigator Award (New York), Claudia Adams Barr Research Award (Boston) and a Scholar of the Leukemia Society of America (USA). Professor Rudd's research focuses on deciphering the signal transduction pathways in T-cells, and the way by which these pathways control various cellular and immune functions in cancer.
